Meditation One
Clear Your Mind
(Hands closed, fist over knee)
You must completely forget about anything that is bothering you or anything that you may be looking forward to. Completely concentrate on what is happening at the present moment. By doing so, you are able to try harder to accomplish your goals every class.
Meditation Two
Bring Power to the Mind and Body
(Palms Together)
Imagine electricity flowing through your body. It goes from your head to your hands to your legs. The electricity represents power, strength and the overcoming of any doubt of weakness you may feel you have. If you believe you are able to do something, then there is nothing that can stand in your way.
Meditation Three
Connect You Mind and Body
(Thumb and middle finger together over knees)
This means that you must take the mind and the body, two separate things, and connect them to create one united force.
Meditation Four
Self Reflection
(Hands cupped in front of Tung-Jon or navel)
Look over the day and see what you may have done right or wrong. Think about how you can correct what you may have done wrong. Make sure you have done a good deed for someone.
